SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwired - May 12, 2016) - Baristas Coffee Company, Inc. (OTCQB: BCCI), "Seattle's World Famous Costume Coffee," announced today that they have formed an acquisition committee to manage the planned expansion of the Baristas brand through structured acquisitions.
The committee, which includes representatives from internal operations, Board Members, and finance, also includes individuals committed to funding the expansion of the Baristas brand. Verticals that support the current growth of brand awareness and marketing efforts are the primary focus initially. The committee is currently evaluating various acquisitions as well as seeking new companies and products.
As a result of the initial success expanding into the retail product sector with the Baristas White Coffee single serve cups, and early acceptance of the soon to be released cosmetic product line, Baristas is making a commitment to further expanding the retail product sector into verticals that support the current distribution model and advertising campaigns in place.
Structured acquisitions of companies, product lines and distribution channels within these verticals will expedite market penetration and significantly decrease the costs associated with expanding the Baristas product offerings.
